The Hawaii Chapter of the APA is the local chapter serving all islands in the State of Hawaii. Membership is open to all payroll, human resources, and other professional persons concerned with the development and operation of payroll and related functions.

The Hawaii Chapter of the APA is an autonomous and independent chapter of the American Payroll Association. The purpose of the organization is to provide a forum to exchange information, experiences and ideas for the benefit and education of its members.

The Hawaii Chapter of the APA was organized in 1986 with the purpose of establishing a network of payroll professionals to keep abreast of current laws and upcoming changes as well as being the liaison with the National APA.

On October 16, 2009 the annual training session "Preparing for Year-End and 2010" will be conducted in Honolulu by the American Payroll Association.

To support its members in taking advantage of this learning opportunity, the Executive Board of the APA Hawaii Chapter has approved a motion to provide partial scholarships towards the registration fee for the session "Preparing for Year-end and 2010" on October 16, 2009.

To be eligible for the scholarship, all you need to do is:

1) Be a member of the Hawaii Chapter of APA

2) Attend at least 6 regular meetings before October 16, 2009
